Up until recently I never knew there was a thing such as toy wooden trains. Like most people I had some knowledge of scale model trains but that always seemed like a rather expensive hobby to get into. Then someone gave my son a wooden train set for Christmas and I discovered that I enjoyed it as much as he did. Wooden trains offer a much more child friendly experience while also letting you change and customize your track layouts whenever you feel like.
As we added a few more wooden train sets to our collection, it became apparent how much fun it could be to combine all of those sets and just make whatever layout we felt like. The more knowledge I gained about this the more I just wanted to make a website on the subject to help other parents and kids get as much enjoyment as possible out of this great toy.
